Does Rated R mean?
R rated movies mean that no one under the age of 17 is permitted to watch (in a theater) without being accompanied by an adult or guardian. If a movie is rated R, the MPAA has decided that the film contains enough adult content that it is not appropriate for kids under the age of 17.
