Can I take my family through TSA PreCheck?
With TSA PreCheck™, you can breeze through airport security. Best part, children 12 and under can accompany a parent or guardian who has TSA PreCheck™ on their boarding pass. Travelers 13 and older who do not have a TSA PreCheck™ boarding pass must go through standard security lanes or apply for TSA PreCheck™.
Can you add people to your clear?
Once you’re a CLEAR Plus member, simply log into your account at MY.CLEARME.COM and select ‘Add a family member’ there. You can add up to 3 family members at a discounted rate. Remember that children under 18 can go through the CLEAR Lane for free when accompanied by a CLEAR member.
What are the requirements for clear?
Travelers will need to be 18 years or older to apply for Clear and must have one of the following forms of valid and unamended photo identification: U.S. driver’s license, U.S. passport, U.S. passport card, U.S.-issued permanent resident card, state issued ID, or U.S. military ID.
Do I need ID with clear?
Yes, the REAL ID requirements apply to passengers using CLEAR and passengers enrolled in CLEAR will need a REAL ID or other acceptable form of ID starting May 3, 2023.
Is clear free?
How much does Clear (really) cost? The standard price for an annual Clear membership is $179. Unlike government programs such as TSA Precheck and Global Entry that offer several years of membership with a single fee, Clear’s fee is annual.

How do you clear at an airport?
At PARTICIPATING AIRPORTS, look for the CLEAR Lane at TSA security checkpoints and a CLEAR Ambassador will greet you. At the CLEAR pod, you’ll scan your boarding pass, confirm your identity with your fingerprints or irises, and then we’ll escort you straight to physical screening. It’s quick and easy!
