How do I make a visa claim?

Receipt Date is the day USCIS receives your application. Notice Date is the day the receipt notice is issued. The receipt date is the relevant date for proving that a case was timely filed, while a person still maintains valid nonimmigrant status.

How long does it take for NVC to send case to Embassy 2020?
The National Visa Center processes most cases within 2.5 months, but timelines vary by case. How long does it take to get Documentarily qualified?
We suggest waiting at least 90 days from notice that your case is documentarily qualified before calling. When you receive an appointment letter from NVC, it will provide the date and time of your visa interview at a U.S. embassy or consulate overseas.
What happens after submitting documents to NVC?
After NVC accepts your documents – which means you are in line for a visa interview – you may not delete anything that you submitted. If at that time you want to submit a new, replacement, or additional document, simply bring it to your visa interview for the consular officer to review.
How do I prove I have a joint account?
