Is Themis or Barbri better?
Barbri provides much better essay materials. The book of essays and examples is great. Themis graded more essays, but I didn’t feel like I had as many outlines to review and learn. If you don’t feel like you are a good technical writer, Barbri’s materials are decent.
How long do I need to study for the bar?

Can you fail an essay and still pass the bar?
If you missed a question on the MEE, you are not alone! The real question is: Does that mean you will fail the bar exam? Luckily, the answer is no. If you are in a Uniform Bar Exam jurisdiction, the multistate essay exam is worth 30% of your score.

The Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) It is a 200-question, multiple-choice exam that is administered over a six-hour period on two dates per year: the last Wednesday of February and the last Wednesday of July. The MBE is used to help bar examiners determine competence to practice law.
Are there different bar exams?
The two types of bar exams One is the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE). The second is a state bar exam. Most jurisdictions administer the same multiple-choice portion of the bar exam but come up with their own state-specific essays. States like California and Florida administer a state-specific bar exam.

The environment that you take the bar exam in should be a prime consideration for where to take the UBE. The number of takers in each state greatly affects the experience you will have. In more popular states, there will be a lot of takers and the environment can be much more stressful.
