How does Blaster Master work?
Blaster Master causes Fire Blast to increase mastery by ~400-500 for 3 seconds. The Blaster Master rotation allows Fire Mages to gain up to (4) or (5) stacks of Blaster Master during the burst Rune of Power + Combustion window, granting up to ~4000-5000 mastery (with 2 pieces).
Are fire mages good in BFA?
Fire Mages are currently the best performing Mage spec both in raiding and Mythic+. They have good single-target damage, with high burst on a relatively short one minute cooldown. Additionally, they have uncapped AoE damage, allowing them to do great AoE damage on bigger pulls, both in raids and Mythic+.
Is Fire Mage good in Shadowlands?

It’s easily the hardest mage spec, if not one of the hardest ranged specs. Also factor in mechanics happening when you’re trying to line up your combustion window… I played fire for a lot of 8.3, and it can be very frustrating. However, once you get the hang of it, it’s not bad.
Why do mages jump?
The extra movement is definitely to prevent hard casting pyroblast. The ones that get me are BM hunters that literally never stop moving, half the time the run into mechanics they otherwise would have avoided.
Why is Firemage so good?
Fire Mage currently excels at two things; they’re really strong at doing single target damage and are also one of the best classes when it comes to cleaving down targets evenly. In addition to that, fire mage has great mobility and a really strong (if not the best) defensive toolkit.
Why do you jump during combustion?
Because during combustion the rotation will sometimes make you press pyroblast faster than it actually procs so your character will start hardcasting Pyroblast. So people are jumping during combustion so even if they accidentaly hit pyroblast key while not being instant it wont start casting.
How do mages heal in wow?
Alter Time is the only big instant “heal”. It’s cast once then after some duration (either by Mage using it again or after some time has elapsed) it puts the Mage back at the location it was when cast and at the same health. Mages have a conduit that heals a good chunk of their HP while in Ice Block.
Can Mages heal themselves?

Mages have no baseline or talented self-healing (we are the only class without it), so you’re entirely reliant on your weak spec-shield, which is a fixed 20% of your hp and does not scale with Int (it does scale with Vers since pre-patch).

Yes this does activate the portal to Lich King when you kill Sindragosa (after professor and Blood queen are killed), So you can kill Lich King with out needing to kill Valithria!
Can you solo ICC?
Yep, LK 25m HC is definitely soloable as a Hunter with your ilvl. I’m not sure about all the other bosses, I always skip them. You can clear 10 normal up to LK and swap to 25 heroic(which requires a 25 normal kill).
Is Valithria dreamwalker optional?
Yes it does. It becomes activated once the main boss of each wing is killed. ie Proff, Blood queen and Sindragosa. the others do not need to be killed.
Can I skip Valithria?
You can skip Valithria – just walk around her and out the back. They made it soloable for non-healing classes. Kill Sindragosa to finish the wing, then go to the center and port to the Lich King.
Can you skip to Lich King?
It appears you cannot change the difficulty from Normal to Heroic while in ICC anymore. Therefore you cannot use a raid lockout from another character to skip to Lich King for the Invincible reins.
Can you do Valithria without a healer?
You are going to have to make a second account and level a healer to join your solo raid. Or just walk around the edge of the arena and skip her so you can kill the frost wyrm boss. Yep, do the skip, I dont think you need her for the achievements if that’s what you’re working on.
Can you solo Glory of the Icecrown Raider?
all achivs and HC fights (except valithria) can be soloed with a hunter, and i didnt even use spirit mend. Once Bitten, Twice Shy: this one cannot be completed in 1 run. u have to kill the boss twice, once bitten, other one not bitten. bitten part is easy.
Where is Blood-Queen Lana thel in ICC?
Blood-Queen Lana’thel is the leader of the San’layn. There can be found a lot of darkfallen at Temple City of En’kilah located in the northeastern corner of Borean Tundra and in Crimson Hall in Icecrown Citadel.
Where do I go after killing Sindragosa?
For him to properly spawn, all three wing Guardians (Sindragosa, Blood-Queen Lana’thel and Professor Putricide) must be downed. Doing so allows you to teleport to him through the center of the Citadel.
